Approximately 8 weeks after implant surgery, prosthesis application can be started. If necessary, a temporary prosthesis application can be made to the patient during this period.
In Which Cases the Implant is Applied
- In cases where the patient cannot use the full prosthesis in case of complete tooth deficiencies,
- In cases where the teeth to be used as bridge legs in long toothless cavities are not strong enough, the support and durability of long bridges are increased with the implant,
- It is applied in order not to damage the healthy teeth next to the lost tooth in single tooth loss.
It is not recommended in patients with uncontrolled chronic conditions, patients whose chemotherapy is ongoing or newly finished, and in patients under 18 years of age with ongoing jawbone development.
